According to the VI Cannabis Use Act (VICUA) of 2023, Virgin Islands Code Title 19 Chapter 34, Subsection 776rrr, “’Practitioner’ means a person who is licensed and in good standing in the Virgin Islands as a medical doctor, osteopath, naturopath, homeopath, chiropractor, or practitioner’s assistant.”
Per the Rules and Regulations issued by the Virgin Islands Cannabis Advisory Board (CAB), all practitioners participating in the VICUA of 2023 must be registered with and follow guidance materials issued by the OCR.
