(U.S. Virgin Islands) – The Virgin Islands Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs (DLCA) announces that the Virgin Islands Cannabis Advisory Board (VICAB) will release a DRAFT of Rules and Regulations for the Cannabis industry today, September 8, 2023, at 5:00 PM. The VICAB invites the community to share what they hope to have included in the Rules and Regulations, so a comment period shall open today through October 10, 2023, at 5:00 PM.
This DRAFT of the Cannabis Rules & Regulations is currently under review by the Office of Cannabis Regulations, the VICAB, and the Department of Justice. It has not been reviewed for legal sufficiency. The DRAFT is subject to addition, amendment, and revision.
The initial DRAFT of Rules and Regulations is available online at the OCR Website (ocr.vi.gov) under the page title “Governance, Rules & Regulations.”
