Welcome to the Virgin Islands Office of Cannabis Regulations!
The mission of the Virgin Islands Office of Cannabis Regulations (OCR) is to allow for the beneficial use of cannabis in a regulated system safe for adult and sacramental users and for patients in alleviating symptoms caused by debilitating medical conditions and their medical treatments.
We envision a future dedicated to protecting and ensuring consumer accessย and products that are safe, quality tested, and accurately labeled.
The OCR began operations on January 3, 2022, with Adult-Use Legislation signed into law on January 18, 2023. Cannabis programs are forthcoming.
